The benefit of the Clinical Audit Process: When 'mechanical sensitivity' can be reduced during a visit, the patient is 3.5 times more likely to see clinically significant improvement between visits.

Understanding the Clinical Audit Process: In the CAP, the appropriate office or self-care treatment is identified when through empirical trial, a treatment is found which reduces the reproduction of the patient's primary symptom. This allows the clinician to quickly and accurately choose between the many treatment options including: stretching, strengthening/stabilization exercises, manual therapy, spinal manipulation, flexion-distraction therapy, traction, neurogliding, modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, …), postural reeducation, and positional relief (end-range loading).
